As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, our priority is to make our cheer programs as affordable as possible for families. While we are not free, our program is significantly less than other year-round competitive cheer programs. 

 

We rely on fundraising efforts and donations to provide the high-quality program we are known for throughout the Pioneer Valley. Our team is comprised of youth from all races, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds. We have a core commitment to diversity and the empowerment of young people.

 

Our program teaches not only the skills needed to be a successful athlete, but a successful student and future adult. Those involved with Springfield Cheerleading learn vital life skills such as leadership, mentoring, teamwork, and dedication. Our athletes learn to respond with appreciation and gratitude when winning but also how to graciously accept defeat. Springfield Cheerleading is more than a team, we are a family for life.

Many of our athletes return to be coaches and assistants, continuing the circle of community service.

Over this past year, Springfield Cheerleading has expanded its efforts at providing an athletic program comparable to other for-profit competitive cheer programs. After considerable fundraising we have been able to purchase tumbling mats for our athletes. This alone allows our athletes to finally practice like our competitors. We are beginning to level out the playing field, something we are quite proud of.

Springfield Cheerleading is now at the point where we are seeking donations and sponsorships from our community stakeholders to assist with continuing the program for the city’s youth. We greatly need assistance with securing funds to pay for competition fees, rental space, music licensing, coaches training, and professional chorography. We appreciate and value any monetary donation you and/or your organization can contribute. Any donation is tax deductible.
